Florida Couple Pleads Guilty to Child Porn Production Crimes

From June 11, 2023, to July 25, 2023, the child stayed at the man’s home in Gainesville. During this time, the child was sexually abused. The extreme abuse was filmed by both the man and the woman. The couple would send messages via text and phone about how concerned they were about being arrested by police if discovered.

On July 25, 2023, law enforcement officers investigated a child disappearance from Texas. That was when police executed a search warrant at the man’s residence. The child was found and rescued. Police arrested the man and woman.

The couple will be sentenced on June 25 at the U.S. Courthouse in Gainesville. The man faces 15 years to life imprisonment as well as five years to life on supervised release. The woman faces a sentence of 15 to 90 years imprisonment and five years to life on supervised release.

The Texas Department of Public Safety, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the Department of Homeland Security all assisted with the investigation.
